Trwyn yr Wylfa Camping site meaning Watching point when translated is exactly what the name suggests! Since taking over the site in 2017 the site has been featured in the Guardian's top 20 coastal sites, iweekend and nominated for campsite of the year in The Great Outdoors magazine.
Trwyn yr Wylfa is set within Snowdonia National Park and only 10 min drive into Conwy. Surrounded with glorious sea view and mountains it is truly a stunning place. Relax and watch the sailing boats along the sea or turn around and face the fabulous Welsh mountains with the sheep and the carneddau ponies roaming along the mountains.
Fantastic walks direct from site on to the North Wales coastline.
The site accepts caravans, motor homes, tents, campervans and trailer tents.
The toilet block have hot water and showers- and has separate ladies, gents toilets as well a 2 family and accessible shower rooms.
There is also a dish washing area, chemical disposal point, a recycling collection area.
Location
Trwyn yr Wylfa is a great location for exploring Snowdonia, North Wales and only 2 miles from the famous walled town of Conwy. Set between the outskirts of the beautiful village of Dwygyfylchi and the quarry village of Penmaenmawr both villages have pubs, shops, restaurants and take away's all within within walking distance of the site.
Enjoy a walk to beach and cycle routes from site and a paradise for walkers as you can walk direct along from site along the North Wales coastal path.
